This driving tour of 35 miles round the north end of Loch Fyne provides interesting information about the heritage of the area and places to stop and explore. This picturesque round trip through Argyll’s Cowal peninsula is approximately 50 miles and takes you from Old Castle Lachlan and Kilmorie Chapel on Loch Fyne, to Loch Eck, and ends at Historic Kilmun on Holy Loch near Dunoon. It contains several stopping places worth devoting plenty of time to. We recommend a whole day to see everything with an additional day if you would like to explore the many forestry tracks by mountain bike or on foot.
