There are several ways to make a donation

We are reaching out to everyone throughout the UK and around the world who cares about the importance of special places like ours to human history and to our shared future. The exhaustion of the planet's resources, climate change and sustainability are all big issues we are having to face. These and other pressures and worries of modern life mean that heritage, community, unspoilt nature and beautiful, tranquil places should be nurtured to give life meaning and to inspire and comfort us down the years.

A visit to Old Castle Lachlan can lift the spirits and refresh body and soul. As the seat of an ancient Scottish clan it is the symbol of bonds that span the world and for many people it is part of their identity and sense of belonging.

Every donation we receive, no matter how small, will make a difference and help us succeed.

• Click on the Make a Donation button to contribute securely online by credit or debit card, whatever the currency. UK tax payers can increase the value of a donation at no extra cost to themselves by checking the gift aid box. The donation button will take you to a secure site run on our behalf by a major fund-raising service provider, Charities Aid Foundation.
• If you prefer not to donate online click here to print off and complete a form to send your credit or debit card details in the post.
• Send a cheque to: Hon. Treasurer, Lachlan Trust, 4 Northfield Park Gardens, Annan DG12 5FB, Scotland. Please include your address and, if possible (if you are a UK tax-payer), a note saying you permit us to claim gift aid on your donation.
• Make an electronic bank transfer to the Lachlan Trust, Bank of Scotland, sort code 80-06-83, account number 00910366. Please give your name as a reference.
• Donors in the USA and Canada can make donations through the Make A Donation button or, to benefit from tax exemption, through branches of the Clan Society in those countries, which have charity registration. There is a separate Lachlan Trust in Canada which is supporting the fund-raising effort.
